Brock Insurance Agency was founded February 4, 1963 by John W. Brock, Jr. and Marie H. Davis and was first located at 106 Howard Street in Rossville, later moving to 115 Howard Street.
“The Difference in Insurance is the Agent” was the slogan adopted by the agency at the onset. This served as motivation for them in their beginning years and continues to challenge the employees today.
The agency was incorporated under the laws of the Sate of Georgia in March, 1965. Mr. Brock and Mrs. Davis were the only stockholders.
In September, 1969, Dana F. Davis, son of Marie Davis, joined the firm and is still with us.
In 1973, the agency moved into its own building located at 823 Chickamauga Avenue in Rossville, Georgia.
In 1979, Paul F. Brock, son of John Brock, joined the agency, followed by Mark Brock in 1983.
In October, 1983, John Brock died of injuries received in an automobile accident. At this time, Paul Brock became President. Because of the relationship which the agency had established with
their insureds and with the companies they represented the agency continued to grow.
In 1995, we doubled the space of our office building by adding a second story.
On September 1, 1998, Brock Insurance Agency started a new division, Brock and Spencer Benefits. Brock and Spencer Benefits provide health and life insurance. Brock and Spencer was spun off on January 1, 2007 as a separate LLC and is headed by DeForest Spencer.
We are a professional agency and take pride in our service.
